All cards and calendars manufactured by Posty Cards are printed using soy-based inks, are recyclable, and are printed on FSC® paper and are manufactured with 100% renewable energy in our green facility.

The Sustainable Sentiments® line offers a selection of business greeting cards with environmentally inspired designs to help convey your commitment to sustainability. These “green” themed options are printed on recycled, FSC® paper and come with envelopes made with 100% recycled paper.

TRUE® Zero Waste Posty Cards is certified as a platinum-level TRUE® Zero Waste facility - making it the first printing facility in the U.S. and first company in the state of Missouri to reach the platinum level through the U.S. Green Building Council's Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI®).

Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) The FSC® certification is recognized internationally for ensuring that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. Green-e® Energy Posty Cards matches 100 percent of its non-renewable energy use with certified renewable energy certificates using Green-e® verified certification. Green-e® is the nation’s leading independent consumer protection program for the sale of renewable energy and greenhouse gas reduction credits.

Kansas City Power & Light Co. Clean Charge Network Partner In 2010, Posty Cards installed the first privately owned electric charging station in Kansas City. In 2015, the company partnered with KCPL as it installed 1,000 charging stations, the largest number for any U.S. city.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED®) The U.S. Green Building Council® certifies the highest levels of building sustainability through its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. Posty Cards was one of the first manufacturing plants in the country to be certified at the highest Platinum level. The certification recognizes the extensive sustainability efforts Posty Cards made during an expansion in 2010 that doubled the size of the facility, while keeping energy use the same. USGBC® and the related logo are trademarks owned by the U.S. Green Building Council® and are used with permission.

Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) As the world’s leading forest certification organization, PEFC works internationally to promote sustainable forest management and ensure certified companies are using sustainably managed wood throughout the chain-of-custody process.

Sustainable Circles Leader Posty Cards was chosen to participate in the first Sustainability Circles program in Kansas City in 2015 and developed a five-year Sustainability Action Plan for the company.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative® Certification (SFI®) SFI® certification ensures forest health and better management of forest resources, and requires certified partners like Posty Cards to support forestry research.

Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) SGP is the leading comprehensive sustainability certifier of print facilities nationwide working to encourage printing companies to reduce their environmental impact.

U.S. Department of Energy Workplace Charging Challenge Partner Posty Cards joins companies across the country in pledging to provide electric vehicle charging stations for their employees and the public.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Green Power Partnership The Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program of organizations like Posty Cards that commit to using clean energy for electrical use.
